EF Tours Email Design System

At EF Tours, I took the lead on my team to streamline our design systems so designer can more efficiently solve problems while pushing the creative work. Since most of our team was not familiar with Figma at the time, I created a library that would be intuitive designers as well as copywriters to use as a base to explore while maintaining brand consistency. I created user guides, lead webinars to on-board the team, and continue to update the components as our brand evolves.

Deliverables Design system for emails

The first project for this was to audit our email designs and begin transitioning components into a Figma library from Adobe XD for the greater creative and email teams to use.

Auditing the current email guidelines

Transitioning the brand color palette into an accessible palette that works on light and dark mode

Using variable modes, I adjusted our existing brand color palette to work for web accessibility standards and be consistent across dark and light modes. In addition, creating the color palette with variables allowed designers to quickly turn on and off the color modes during reviews and ensure users were having the best possible experience on any device.
