Since tiny houses are all the rage, it is only logical that furniture to fit it would follow. An article from Fast Company Design features The Bookniture created by Hong Kong-based designer Mike Mak. The Bookniture is a small table or stool that looks like a book when it is folded up. The structure can support up to 375 pounds and has a felt topper that protects the honeycombed cardboard, which makes up the base.
The stool is incredibly practically for those living in a small space, such as an apartment, dorm room, or tiny home. When guests are over, there is always tons of extra seating, but The Bookniture doesn’t take up an space once they leave.
It can be pre-ordered now for $65 through the Kickstarter.
